Antique Linens - Double Cotton, Bed Cover (BC10)
This really pretty cotton bed cover measures 84 inches in width and 98 inches length so is suitable for a double bed. I have shown it on a standard sized double bed and one of the photos shows how much it overhangs each side.
There is white on white embroidery and drawn threadwork over most of the cover, all expertly worked. There are no marks or stains and it is beautifully white having been freshly laundered, starched and ironed. There is evidence of someone's neat mend on one corner which I have photographed (last photo) but this really isn't that noticeable and wouldn't be obvious when on the bed.
