Bed Cover, Drawn Thread Work - SOLD

This stunning cotton bed cover is covered in the most beautifully worked drawn thread work.  All the threads seem to be intact and the centre is most unusual (see photo).

The measurements are 85 inches by 65 inches.  This could be used on a single or double bed.  I have photographed it on a double bed and there is a decent overhang on each side.  Alternatively you could use it as a tablecloth for a very large table; perhaps the top table at a vintage wedding?

The condition is very good and it is beautifully white.  There are two marks which may disappear with further laundering or a dilute solution of bleach.  One is right on the bottom edge so could be tucked under and the other is 18 inches up from the bottom edge and 22 inches in from the side (both are photographed).

The bed cover has been freshly laundered.
