Vintage Clothing & Accessories - Glass DressTrimming
This item is most unusual; I would think it was originally used as a dress trimming. It consists of two large facetted glass beads joined by four strands of smaller facetted beads. Surrounding these large beads is a pattern of tiny beads. The photographs do show the detail which is quite hard to describe. From the middle of one large bead to the other measures 7 inches (18 cms). It does have a look of jet but as I would not imagine that the very small beads would be jet I have described it as glass.
A beautiful and very unusual adornment to any item of clothing to add that 'ohsovintage' style.
