Bread Board and Knife

This old bread board has been well used.  Round the edge is a pattern which I think looks like ears of corn although it has worn off in places.  It has also suffered a scorch mark on one side.  The diameter of the board is 10.5 inches.

Measuring 12 inches (30 cms) in length this bread knife is in very good condition.  The red painted wooden handle is in excellent condition with no paint chips or cracks - this is unusual as often the paint chips and cracks through continual washing.  The base is marked 'Bread Knife, Sheffield England, Stainless Steel'.
