Enamelware - French coffee Pot (KE428)
This enamel finish on this French coffee pot (or Biggin) is known as 'Snow on the Mountain' which is highly sought after. (Biggins originated in France around 1800 and were the first modern method of making coffee using drip brewing).
The total height is 11 inches with a base diameter of 5.25 inches. The pot can be used without the filter as the lid fits both the pot and the filter. The filter is a little rusty (not surprising as it would have had water dripping through). I think you would be more likely to use this coffee pot for decoration than use.
There is some chipping and rust, commonplace in vintage enamelware.
