Enamelware - Lavabo & Tank (KE331)
This consists of a water container and basin, both enamelware. This would have been used in a home before there was plumbing. Both the tank and basin would have been fitted to the wall, the tank was filled with water and it would have had a tap (only part of the tap is remaining on this one and it is no longer watertight).
The water container measures 10 inches by 10 inches (excluding tap) by 4.25 inches and the basin measures 13.5 inches width by 11.5 inches depth by 7 inches height. The tank has pretty flowers painted on it. There are chips on both pieces but fortunately none on the front of this tank.
This would look stunning in a bathroom decorated in a French country style.
