Vintage Furniture - French Hat/Coat Rack
The French faux bamboo hat/coat racks are usually horizontal ones with large 'pegs' to hang one's garments on but this one is unusual in that it hangs vertically. Measuring 17 inches in length and each of the four 'pegs' protruding 4.5 inches from the wall this is a really lovely piece. Each of the 'pegs' is ridged and tilted upwards. There is a lovely patina to the wood.
I don't think this will hang around for long (excuse the pun!) because of its individuality.
