Kitchenalia - French Storage Jars - (KS256)
There are five jars in this set - Farine, Cafe, The, Epices and Sucre. The measurements range from 7 inches height to 4 inches height. They are very art deco in their design, especially the lids. The jars have a pattern of pink flowers (they look like daisies), gold flowers (they look like daffodils) with silver leaves.
The condition is very good and it is fortunate to find five in such good condition. Points to mention are a tiny chip on the inside of the Epices jar (it doesn't show with the lid on) and a tiny amount of crazing on the base of the the jar. These 'imperfections' really do not detract from the loveliness of the set and are barely noticeable. Three of the jars have a stamp on the base which is 'France' above a crown and 'Chauvigny' (see photo).
A truly beautiful set.
