Gardenalia - Vintage Garden Trowel
This garden trowel is narrower than most which would suggest a special purpose, perhaps bulb planting. It measures 13 inches total length with the trowel being 8.5 inches and the wooden handle 4.5 inches. The metal was originally painted red and some indication of this is still apparent. It is rusty and the end is slightly bent suggesting a great deal of use.
I have not attempted to clean this trowel or renovate it as I, personally, like vintage items to look vintage and that they have been well used.
This old garden trowel would look lovely displayed with other items of gardenalia in the garden.
