Kitchenalia - Green Handled Utensils
Here we have a trio of vintage utensils, all with green wooden handles.
1. Egg separator, dating from the late 1940s, which can also be used to lift boiled eggs from the pan.
2. Apple corer marked 'Stainless Patent No.260407. This dates from the 1920s and the handle would have been made from boxwood. It was also known as the 'two-in-one' reversible corer as the stubby handle fits the ends of the corer, one end for larger apples, the other for small ones.
3. Potato Peeler, marked 'Stainless steel'. the side of the peeler has a serrated edge.
