Antique Linens - Linen Pillowcase (LP137)
This very large fine linen pillowcase has a crown monogrammed on it so must have belonged to a royal household.
The pillowcase measures 31 inches by 36 inches. On the back are eight hand made Dorset buttons. It has a pretty scalloped edging.
The pillowcase has been freshly laundered and beautifully starched. It is in very good condition; there are some yellow (scorch?) marks on the bottom right hand corner (see last photo) but, of course, these may wash out with further laundering.
