Measuring Jug

This enamel jug measures 4.5 inches in height and 5 inches diameter at the top.  It is marked inside up to 20 fl. ozs and 1 gill and 1 pint are also marked. 

This jug dates from around 1910.  It has the blue coloured rim and although the measurements are clearly marked it does have some chips to the rim, base and some on one side.   It is extremely rare to find an enamel item without any chips and, of course, this does show that it has been used rather than just displayed.
