Salter Scales

Kitchenalia - Salter Scales (KU657) 

These Salter household scales (number 34) date from around the 1930s.  They are capable of measuring up to 20 lbs in 1 oz increments.  There is a dial on the back to set the needle to zero.

The metal is painted a very light green and there is an aluminium pan.  The paint has chipped off in places over the years.  They are still useable or you may prefer to just display them with other vintage kitchenalia.

(The scales themselves weigh 1.79 kgs).
