Antique Clothing & Accessories -Shaving Mirror
This lovely old shaving mirror stands 15 inches tall and the diameter of the mirror is 5.5 inches. There are mirrors on both sides, one being a magnifying one and the other a bevelled normal one. The mirrors can be swivelled and removed from the stand (as shown).
I have had a similar mirror to this which I have for a great many years and I use it every day. Originally intended to be used as a shaving mirror the brush would have fitted on to the hook on the side where I have hung pieces of jewellery.
There are similar modern replicas of this item but this is a true vintage mirror. It is in very good condition (there is a mark approx 1 cm long on the bevelled edge of one of the mirrors but this really doesn not detract from it at all).
